Dental Exams

The American Dental Association recommends a dental exam (check-up) every 6 months. Dr. Teel will perform an extraoral and intraoral exam. This exam is important in catching any signs of oral pathology or cancer, early.

Cleaning

A cleaning (prophylaxis) is completed at each examination appointment. Our skilled hygienist will carefully and thoroughly remove all plaque and tartar leaving your teeth feeling fresh and clean.

Deep Cleaning

Sometimes plaque and tartar can remain on our teeth long enough that we begin to develop gum disease (periodontitis). In these cases, we may need to perform a deeper type of cleaning to stop the progression of gum disease.

Extractions

There are times when there is nothing that can be done to save a broken down or infected tooth. If this is the case, sometimes the best option is to remove the tooth.

Dental Bridges

If there are one or two missing teeth right next to each other we may be able to provide a dental bridge. A dental bridge uses the two teeth on both sides of the empty space to replace the missing teeth. This type of restoration is different than a denture because it is permanently affixed in your mouth and is not removable.

Implant Crowns

An implant is a titanium device that is integrated into the jaw bone of a missing tooth space. After the implant has healed and integrated into the jaw, a tooth colored crown is fixed onto the implant, restoring both the form and function of the missing tooth

Same Visit Crowns

Sometimes teeth have broken down to a point that there is not enough remaining tooth structure to predictably place a filling that will last. In these cases Dr. Teel uses digital scanning technology to design and fabricate a crown to restore the tooth in its entirety. These restorations protect teeth from further breakdown and decay.

Laser Fillings

Gone are the days of that high pitched drill noise and lingering numbness after a filling appointment. Dr. Teel is specially trained to provide fillings utilizing the state-of-the-art Solea 9.3 micron CO2 laser. This technology enables us to provide precise, conservative fillings that maximize healthy tooth structure, all without any pain, needles or numbness!

Clear Aligners

We use digital scanning technology and photographs to make Clear Aligner trays to straighten your smile. These are more discreet and equally as effective as traditional metal braces. After your initial consultation appointment we will use our digital design software to show you visually exactly where your teeth will be after treatment.

Dentures

Dentures are a removable prosthetic that restores missing teeth. These are sometimes cast metal, acrylic, or a combination of the two. We use modern digital scanning to create dentures with an excellent fit, comfortable feel, and esthetic appearance.

Tongue Releases

Sometimes newborns can be born with tethered oral tissues underneath the tongue or upper lip. This can make breastfeeding difficult or painful for the mother. Releasing these tethered tissues can make all the difference in your breastfeeding experience. At Fremont Laser Dentistry we utilize our state-of-the-art Solea 9.3 micron CO2 laser to quickly and effectively release the tethered tissue. After the procedure you and your baby can take all the time you need in our calm and quiet Mother’s Room with comfortable chairs and a changing station.
